Zomercursus in Hongarije: de invloed van dirigeren op de koorklank
Deze zomer, van 15 tot 28 juli 2017, organiseert het Kodály Instituut in Kescekemét diverse zomercursussen over o.a. muziekpedagogiek en koordirectie.
VROUWEN- EN JEUGDKOOR
Wilma ten Wolde (koordirigent en muziekpedagoog) en Irene Verburg (vocal coach), zullen werken aan koorrepertoire voor vrouwen- en jeugdkoor vanuit verschillende invalshoeken: zanger, dirigent en vocal coach.
Onderwerpen:
– Hoe integreer je vocale ontwikkeling in repetities?
– Hoe ontwikkel je een fris en jong, maar vol geluid in een koor?
– Hoe analyseer je vocale problemen bij zangers en hoe los je dat op?
– Hoe werk je aan flexibiliteit en muzikale richting?
– Wat is de invloed van de stijl van dirigeren op de koorklank, de intonatie en de muzikale vrijheid van de koorzangers?
– Hoe ontwikkel je je eigen adem en houding als dirigent, en wat voor effect heeft dat op het koor?
De cursus geeft jonge koordirigenten en studenten met ervaring in het werken met koren, de kans om zich te bekwamen in de muzikale en technische kennis die nodig is om zangers het klassieke koorrepertoire te laten zingen.
KINDERKOOR EN GEMENGD KOOR
Naast Wilma ten Wolde en Irene Verburg worden er ook cursussen gegeven door Gabriella Thész en Péter Erdei.

Summer Course in Hungary: the influence of conducting on choral sound
This summer, 15 – 28 July 2017, the Kodaly Institute in Kescekemét (Hungary) will organize summer courses on music-pedagogy and choral conducting.
FEMALE CHOIR & YOUTH CHOIR
Wilma ten Wolde (artistic director of the Netherlands Vocal Talent Foundation) and Irene Verburg (vocal coach of the National Choirs of the Netherlands), will work on repetoire from different points of view: singer, conductor and vocal coach.
This course will not only give you the opportunity to work on your conducting but also on developing your own vocal skills. You will study the influence of your conducting style on choral sound, intonation and musical freedom.
Subjects
– How to integrate vocal development in rehearsals
– How to analyze and solve vocal issues with young singers
– How to achieve a fresh and young, yet full bodied sound within a choir
– How to work on flexibility and musical direction
– How to develop your own breath and posture and how that effects the singing of a choir
The course gives an opportunity for young choral conductors and choral conducting students with a reasonable amount of experience in working with choirs to develop their musical and technical knowledge necessary for the performance of classical choral repertory.
CHILDREN’S CHOIR AND MIXED CHOIR
Next to Wilma ten Wolde and Irene Verburg, there will also be courses lead by Gabriella Thész and Péter Erdei.
