The week leading up to Easter includes Bach's always overwhelming St. Matthew Passion. The 'Matthäus' has been at the top of classical music lovers' lists in the Netherlands for decades. After all, Bach composed the Passion nearly three hundred years ago in such an evocative and compelling manner that it leaves no one untouched.
