Rebecca studied cello with Like and Yke Viersen and continued her studies at the conservatories of Amsterdam and London (Royal Academy of Music). After her studies she became the cellist of the Ragazze Quartet, with which she performed at home and abroad and recorded many CDs. She left the Ragazze in 2024, in part to reflect on the rest of her musical career.
Rebecca sang with the Nationale Koren until 2011, first in the National Children's Choir and then in the National Women's Youth Choir. She was previously a teacher at the Lesplaats Amsterdam.
