On June 4, the National Choirs gave a choral concert conducted by Sigvards Klava to conclude our "ensemble in residence" season at TivoliVredenburg. What a great repetitor, educator and conductor Sigvards is!
It featured music by Max Reger, George Sviridov, Arvo Pärt, Peteris Vasks, Matthias Kadar and Béla Bartók, among others. A project never to be forgotten!
In July we will work with him again. Then we will sing Stravinsky's Mass in the Groet of St. Bavo Church as the opening of the International Organ Biennale Haarlem!
