Hanneke Hommes

Hanneke Hommes studied Music Teaching and Choral Conducting at the conservatories of Enschede and Utrecht. She works as an arranger, pianist at rehearsals and score reader at recordings of classical concerts.

At the age of seven, Hanneke began her musical journey as a member of the National Children's Choir. She participated in many concerts, including the christening of Princess Amalia, the soundtrack to the 3rd Harry Potter film and G. Mahler's 3rd symphony with the Berliner Philharmoniker conducted by Bernard Haitink. During her conservatory studies, she was a member of the National Women's Youth Choir, with which she participated in the world premiere of the St. Luke Passion by James MacMillan, Mädchenprozession by Karlheinz Stockhausen and the Concerto Delle Suore conducted by Ton Koopman, among others.

For the Nationale Koren, Hanneke provides solfège and repertoire lessons and is rehearsal director during study days.
