Marjolein Verburg grew up in a musical family and began singing at an early age. She sang in several choirs, including the National Children's Choir, the National Youth Choir and the World Youth Choir. She was a member of the successful a cappella ensemble Wishful Singing for many years. On a project basis, Marjolein sings in several professional choirs. Marjolein studied solo singing at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and Clinical Developmental Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. She combines her two fields of study as a Care Singer where she sings with people with dementia and as a teacher for people with Long Covid.
Marjolein is a music educator for the Boys-Juniors and a teacher in the teaching location in Amsterdam.
