Welcome to the Nationale Koren
The Nationale Koren is the national training institute for young vocal talent in the Netherlands. We
guide singers ages 6 to 29 in their vocal and musical development, starting from the very first
vocal experiences to professional concert performance. With specialized vocal instruction, personalized
Through mentoring and special artistic collaborations, we offer young singers the opportunity to
to discover and explore new possibilities.
The joy of music, personal growth, and artistic quality go hand in hand.
Choirs and soloists
The National Children's Choir, National Boys' Choir, National Girls' Youth Choir, and National Mixed Youth Choir form the heart of our national training program.
Here, young singers develop their voices, musicality, and musical independence. Individual vocal coaching, intensive ensemble training, and unique performance experiences reinforce one another.
In the Junior Choirs, young singers develop their vocal and musical skills and experience the joy of singing together. For those who want to and are able to continue, progression to the Nationale Koren is possible. We also offer individual and solo development programs.
